Test Etch

Heres a snap shot of the folded steel on this sword

 
Not a proper polish, not a proper etch, but I am excited and very pleased.

    Hey! this is a really interesting project thus far.

    Any idea of the layer count on this one?

    It reminds me of the subtle patterning found on old swords sometimes..

      Hi Luke,

      thanks for the comment, its exactly that kind of patterning that i am aiming for.

      the sword began as 10 layers, and ended up around 900 layers.
