Wedding Sword

a few months ago i was asked by some friends to make them a sword for their wedding as part of a traditional welsh service,

i wanted to make a full on pattern weld, but i just couldnt afford the time.

so here i s what we ended up with!

it was a great opportunity to try overlay, something i'd not done on a piece before.

other than that, it was fantastic to have contributed a part of what was a great wedding and weekend.
